1020AD. Some time in the mid 20’s Ealdred II killed Thobrand the Hold in revenge for killing of his father Uchtred in 1018.

 

1038AD. Ealdred II was murdered by Carl, the son of Thorbrand the Hold to avenge the death of his father.

1038AD. Ealdulf II succeeded his brother Ealdred II after he was murdered by Carl, the son of Thorbrand the Hold.

 

1041AD. Ealdulf II was murdered  by the Danish Jarl Siward at the instigation of Harthacnut the son of King Canute.
