759AD. Aethelwald Moll Seized the throne at the death of Oswulf.
761AD. Oswine challenged him for the throne. The two sides met at Ledunum (near Melrose) and in a battle that raged for three days, Oswine fell and Aethelwald Moll retained his kingdom.
762AD. Aethelwald Moll married Aethelthryth at Catterick.
765AD. The nobles called for the Witan to gather, Aethelwald Moll was deposed and forced to become a monk. Ealchred was placed on the throne in his stead.
